Hi, I'm Melanie Harvey, Owner/Designer of
"Pageant Wear Designs by Melanie".  I am the
mother of three, two girls and a boy and I live  in
Tallahassee, FL.  I've been sewing for 30 years, 11
years professionally.  I currently design and make
costumes for "Dancing With Miss Denise"
studio in Crawfordville. FL and I also sew for
pageants, dance competitions, weddings, parade
floats, plays, and other events.  My daughter began
entering pageants at the age of two so I know the
costs involved with pageantry.  That's why I strive to
make high quality pageant wear that is affordable
for my customers.  I think of designing and creating
pageant attire as an art form~it is very enjoyable for
me.  I  treat each and every customer as an
individual and work with them to create that special
outfit to bring out their  child's natural beauty and
