Hi, I'm Melanie Harvey, Owner/Designer of "Pageant
Wear Designs by Melanie".  I am a stay-at-home
mother of three, two girls and a boy and I live  in
Tallahassee, FL.  I've been sewing for 28 years, 9
years professionally.  I currently design and make
costumes for "Dancing With Miss Denise" studio in
Crawfordville. FL and have  also sewn for pageants,
weddings, parade floats, plays, and other events.  My
daughter began entering pageants at the age of two
and she's now eleven so I know the costs involved with
pageantry.  That's why I strive to make high quality
pageant wear that is affordable for my customers.  I
think of designing and creating pageant attire as an
art form~it is very enjoyable for me.  I  treat each
and every customer as an individual and work with
them to create that special outfit to bring out their
